The Great Divide Race

As an endurance ride/race enthusiast for the past several years, I've always been interested in the GDR. It's the Tour de France of ultra-endurance bike racing. Some people would say that RAAM is the Tour, but, well, RAAM is a different animal completely. There are no motor homes involved in the GDR.

I was very fortunate to be asked by Mike Curiak to help report on and document the running of the 2006 and 2007 Great Divide Races. Check out the blog of the '06 Great Divide Race and the blog of the '07 Great Divide Race preserved here on my site.
